Zoe Persico’s artwork has always been an inspiration to me, and her illustrations in this book did not disappoint! It’s super-stellar, and the story told in verse by Diana Murray is just as engaging and colorful! Not only did I love the attention to detail throughout this book, but I also enjoyed the feeling of nostalgia after reading it.
Definitely a favorite in our house, summer or not!
